We have organised a vibrant and soulful celebration to honour the birth anniversaries of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam, two legendary icons of Bengali literature and culture.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a heartfelt tribute to the great poets. Members of the NGO delivered speeches highlighting Tagore’s contribution to literature, music, and education, as well as Nazrul’s powerful writings on equality, humanity, and resistance against injustice.
Children and young performers presented Rabindra Sangeet and Nazrul Geeti, filling the venue with melody and emotion. Recitations of selected poems and a short drama based on their literary works deeply inspired the audience.
