Sapling distribution and planting program was held on the occasion of ‘Aranya Week’ on July 14-20. Saplings have been handed over to the councilors along with Gautam Dasgupta, chairman of Budge Budge Municipality. Besides distribution among the public, tree planting programs were held at Budge Budge Public Library, Budge Budge Manuel Girls High School, Budge Budge CNI Church, Trishakti Ashram of Batanagar, Budge Budge Municipal Hospital premises etc. We have distributed a total of 200 saplings during this year’s forest week with the courtesy of the West Bengal Government Forest Department.
